Spirit Wolf - Art Doll

Let me present to you the Spirit Wolf. She is a etheral immortal being excisting on the soul plane beyond ours. Calm, wise and kindhearted she carry light and love wherever she goes. She is light as a feather and her blue markings on horn, face, tail, feet and wisps light up the dark. With her horn she can locate any soul that has been lost due to hardships when dying and she then guide them safely over to the other side.

This is the first Spirit Wolf in a series that Im making (a black one, her counterpart, is already on the way ). What is significant for these heavenly beings are the big horns and very long tails, and of course the spirit wisps that float around them. I love how this girl turned out, Im very happy with the design and balance.  She is a very special one that Im giving to a person that has given my life something very special.

MADE: 
The Spirit Wolf is a completely handmade and original artdoll made by me - sculpted, casted, painted, formed, furred, trimmed and sealed. She is posable in legs, tail, neck and wisps. Her wisps and tip of the tail is made of chicken and swan feathers. Horn is sculpted. She is a one of a kind creation directly from my imagination and there will never be any other like her.  

In this pic you can see just how much I work on cutting and trimming all my dolls to make them look like the do in the end result. Its not an easy nor fast task as any misstake could ruin the whole doll - cutting to deep and create bald spots or cutting of to much so the bodies wont look right. If you think making dolls is easy... stop!
