To catch a Pegafly - Sculpture

Teeny tiny mini Pegafly newly caught in my garden. This is another variation of my Mini Horses Collection that I soon will put up on Etsy (after making some more). With resemblance from my Mini Unicorns design this little fella is even smaller and with 4 real dragonfly wings attached to his back.

Do not worry, no live dragonflies came to harm in this process, just the dead ones, already torn asunder by their breathren... Our lakeside is one big dragonfly graveyard - full of scattered wings. O___o Although I do love dragonflies (among pretty much all insects) Im glad they arent bigger seeing how great predators they are, but theeeen.... releasing one pony sized dragonfly on the guests at my tavern workplace when they leave ther food all over the place (as in 80% of the cases) would be VERY plesant. Especially releasing it on the children familys. I would love to see them eaten alive. And wouldnt even mind if the dragonfly left some arms or legs lying around.


Min Pegafly made completely in super sculpey and painted with acrylics. 4 real dragonfly wings attached to his back.
Sadly the colors doesnt come through to good in the pic, he is more of a copper gold glittering color to his back, with vibrant green shining stripe-details, but oh well, we all know sculptures look some 85% better for real.

PS: Yes I DO have horrid fingernails and fingers in this pic I just realized - to my defense I have been climbing around in the forest on adventure all day long. Sorry!
