Spider Queen - sculpture by Escaron Spider Queen - sculpture by Escaron
From Okami I present the boss Spider Queen Jōrōgumo. And to all of you who wonder what happened to Amaterasu... you dont wanna know. XD ;P

This was my final work for the Swedish video-game exhibition. I would have uploaded her before but Im not keen on the white background. I had to stress-snap the picture just before going to the exhibit. Then I planed to take some new pics today/tomorrow, to upload for ya guys, since today was the final exhibition day buuuuut~ due to the big succsess of it all the exhibit will be around all the way to April the 21st. (Wich is awesome!!!) But because of that I decided to upload this (and some more angles coming soon) anyway and reupload better pics later. Because Im totally to impatient to wait any longer. :dummy:

Spider Queen is made on a base of wire and tin foil, sculpted in Super Sculpey and painted with acryllics. Her headband is out of string, and the hair is my own. ^^

Height: 12 cm
Lenght: 34 cm
Width: 36 cm

Oh wow, I would SO buy this to have in my living room on display for all to see~

For some reason, the hair looks so amazing on this piece.

Hahahaha it totally is. XD I saved it when I cut bangs some year ago. I had just dyed my hair black back then so when I cut it off it looked so nice that I though I maybe could use it for something later - and I was right. :dummy:
