Pokemon Pidgeot - Sculpture by Escaron Pokemon Pidgeot - Sculpture by Escaron
I was suppose to make a small and easy and fast made Pidgeot.... I FAILED MISSERABLY!!!! :faint: XD

Okay, so yeah du du du duuuun this is my absolute fave pokémon through all time. Pidgeot, I would say one of the easies pokémons to capture (in his first form Pidgey) but oh man how I love this one and all his evolutions. Pidgeot is just perfect! Haha. And he is actually the ONLY pokémon that Ive always brought along in every single battle team, in all games Ive played. Also the only pokémon that I have ever leveled all way up to 99 entirely by myself - noooo MissingNo and infinite rare candy there! PROUDNESS!!!! XD ;P This is my way of honour his service through the years! :D

Did I tell you I love to make details? 8D XD

Made out of wire, tin foil, super sculpey and acrylics. And just like with Dragonair Ive shaped all the different sized feathers by hand and then attached one on one on his body, every inch of him has feathers. Pheeew, that took me about 25 hours.

Hight: 14,5 cm

Enjoooooooooooy!!! Im gonna enjoy that he is finally done! :la:

Ive actually got a level 100 pidgeot that I caught on level 2 on my blue pokémon game! He and the starter bulbasaur I had was the two only pokémons ever I trained to lv 100 all by myself. Im proud! :D And Im with you all the way! I think I will always love the kanto pokémons the best. Maybe because Ive got so many memories from back then when pokémon first entered the world. Haha
I always use a pidgey in my games, it simply has to be on my team. :D

wow, we are so much alike! I also always picked Bulbasaur! he is my favorite of all, my own number one :D <3 yeah, I remember first getting my pokemon red game, i played all day:D  I also was so excited when i heard we could get the Kanto starters, and really happy when my boyfriend restared his game 3 times to get me charmander and squirtle <3 now charizard and Blastoise are both level 100, and venusaur( my only girl on my team) is on her way being level 88ish :) It totally felt like the first time i got my first Bulbasaur ever, and i'm honored to be a trainer of those amazing pokemon! :D

and same here, sometimes i caught a spearow though, but that rarely happened :)

Haha, that is so cool! :D And your bf is very kind! My blue game unfortunately became a little corrupt after I fought missingno, but not so bad that I cant play it though. Only the hall of fame is all wierd when you check it. I really think the 2 first games were the best ones. They were simple yes, but they just give me so much nostalgia. The new games are super too, but nothing beats red and blue in my opinion, and the 150 first pokémons. <3

haha yeah he is :D and aw, thats horrible :( I think pokemon bank can't save your amazing Pidgeot either :( and yeas i agree :D I remember playing days and days on end only shutting down my gameboy for dinner and sleep etc. I really am happy i can finally give my pokemon extra love in the pokemon Amie feature :D they even survive lethal blows so now and then! I feel so proud as a trainer then! :D goold ol' Kanto and Johto <3 I also loved the music in the games :D

I do take commissions, yes. ^^ Trades doesnt happen very often because I simply must use all my time on commissions so I can earn enough to put food on my table. :aww:

Oh I see. Well, if I wanted to make a commission, how much would it be for a vaporeon?

Would you want it to be as detailed as the pidgeot, or something with less details? And around the same size or smaller? (Love vaporeon!!! <333)

Doesn't have to be as detailed no, and as for height, surprise me.  But if I do want to commission one, it won't be till July because we won't be home next week or half of this week

Something more like this when it come to detail? Gotta catch em all! by Escaron <--- This is one of my very first clay works though so I can tell Im a better sculptor now. ^^

If you decide on a commission after Ive given you a estimated price I unfortunately have to ask you to wait a while longer than July. I have a summer work until the end up august (wich eat all my time and strenght) and 2 more commissioners in line so probably I wont be able to begin yours until sometime in october. :)

ahhh! I've fallen behind commenting on all your lovely sculptures :la:

I have been watching the original 1997 Pokemon tv show with my room mate recently which is exciting since I never saw it as a child! even more exciting, I now can recognize a lot of the Pokemon you make sculptures of! :happybounce:

I love how you make feathers, it gives your sculptures fantastic textures and movement.

My reaction to you telling me about working at a library: "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I want too!!!!!!" :D I tried becoming a librarian but it didnt work with my eye problem, also Id rather be a assistant if anything, but there arent so many such jobs in sweden unfortunately. Im really happy to hear it work so great for you!!!!!  :happybounce:

^^ I'm not technically a librarian yet (and this is my first full-time job so I'm still exploring options, I'd love to work behind the scenes at a museum or historical society! :eager: )

I work at the circulation desk in the library, giving people library cards and checking books out/in answering questions etc. I really love it so far! :happybounce:

Wow! Here we must go to a library university for 4 years to even have a go at getting in on a library. But we have so high unemployment that about 300 people apply for one single job every time. Its awesome that you got in and that you love it!!! Congrats a ton!!

wow! :wow: here if you want a higher library position many places will require you to have a graduate degree from an American Library Association (ALA) acredited school. The position I am in is entry level so it doesn't require that but if I want to continue working with libraries I may go back to school to get the necessary degree.

The job market here is not ideal but what you're describing sounds really tough! :faint: sometimes I can't believe how lucky I was to get this position! At first they hired someone else but then that person found a different job that was actually in their field (biology) and I was their second choice! :eager: I am so thankful to have a good job and wonderful coworkers. I am very busy but I like working and being useful :happybounce:

To get work in sweden is super tough. We are one of the countries with most youth unemployment in the whole world. Its really reeeaaally bad. And yet the poloticans think people should be allowed to work until they are 69! Wich mean even less young people will get work!!! -_______-
Im really happy for your sake!!!
