Nyx by Escaron Nyx by Escaron
This is the christmas present I made for my sis :iconvattukatt:

Its her brook horse Nyx. Standing about 6cm tall, made out of wire, tin foil, super sculpey and acrylic paints. Sis hasnt decided yet if he should have eyes or not, so Im waiting patiently. :D

Btw sis, who do you think would go victorious from a fight? My brook or yours? ;P

A big thanks also to you sis (*Vattukatt) for helping me taking the pitures!!! :huggle:

Nyx belong to :iconvattukatt: and her alone, anyone trying to steal him will get a curse thrown in their face from yours truly. :stare:

what a beautiful sculpture! and such a detailed one at that  :O
I'm loving the watery texture of the tail and hooves, and how well they tie in with the beautiful background you chose!
also, beautiful job with the anatomy! horses can be so tough ;o; yet you've got it down wonderfully

Wow, you really think so!? Thank you SO much!!! :tighthug:  :happybounce: My biggest harships with horses are the hind legs, even if I have been riding since I was 6 and seen sooo many horses I still have such problems to sculpt their hind legs right! :faint:

absolutely XD and you're welcome~
ah, I totally understand you there. Legs can be so killer ;o; for me it's more on reptiles than horses, but man, looks like no artist is excempt from the difficulties of anatomy! still, you have done a great job~

This is amazing! you are really good at clay sculptures! I have only worked with sculpey once. I made some simple dinosaurs. I would love to work with it again sometime though :) The hair is gorgeous, makes me immediately think of water, which I think is the point since it is a brook horse, right? Very cool! :la:

 Thank you sooooo much!!! :tighthug:  Ive never done a dinosaur, but they are a big interest of mine! Im very facinated by them and how they lived here. Ive always wanted to be a arciologist, but its to much studying sadly, and to few jobs. Its really much fun to work with clay, so if you get the chance and have the money, buy super sculpey, its a little more expensive but its the best clay ever!
Uhu, its suppose to look like water! Thank you SO much for liking it and thinking it look good!

Actually I hope to be an archaeologist someday! I have attended a 5-week field school, and taken several classes including a lab! I love it  I know there aren't many jobs but I have learned a lot in the field of historic preservation (that's my major) I hope to gain more experience, not just in archaeology, because I'm not sure if that will work out and possibly go to grad school!

No problem! :happybounce:

yeah, archaeologist is a hard word to spell, I had to make sure I learned how to spell it right because I write it a lot for classes and in papers!

I hope to do some great work in the field (and the lab) someday! :happybounce:

I'm not sure exactly. I am planning to take a year get more experience and then I will hopefully go to grad school and find a good job after that so I guess from this point 2 or 3 years after 4 years in college. So a total of about 6 or 7 years. I'm also totally okay with working a bit outside of my desired field on my way there. I don't expect to get my dream job right away, especially since I don't have a ton of experience yet so I'm not sure exactly what my dream job is yet!

Wow, then you have a lot of studying before you. But as it is something you really burn for and love I know you will make it just splendidly and have a lot of fun along the way! Haha, I wish I could be like you and know what I wanna study. Its to bad there isnt a university where you to a 100% become a writer. :D Arche... no I give uo on the wird, sorry! XD I think that is super awesome to become, but as I live in sweden I would have to move to another country, since we dont dig so much around here. Haha. And I think I would miss everything around here to much then. Also I think if you become a acheologist (wrong spelled) I will maybe not have so much time for my writing. Hehe. But maybe I would think the work was so much more fun than that then, you never know. :D

Or whom would toss his hair the fairest. They will be worse than the sissy elfs in The Hoobit. XD

Well you know what happen when André force water down the victims throats. Ahahahahahhahahah.
But can you be sure, maybe its some poor super-bad-kisser-brook out there somewhere. :tears:

I have no idea, man. I'm finding it hard to believe any of them could be defeated. Shapeshifters and all. Dunno how skillful André is tho. Would be cool seeing that. Them fightning, I mean.

Aaaaw!! A horse shaking its head!!! :iconawwwplz: :XD:

André is skillfull alright, I mean he is about 2000 years old and has gotten to learn a little during his lifetime. :D I think it would be a tie, considering the fact they are both "only" water. :la: Although André is a hell of a kisser. :flirty:

They would just fight over who had the longest hair or could stay the longest underwater.

I think all brooksies are good kissers tho. Tho mine tend to drown people when he try. They get all these slimy water plants and muddy water down their throat and stuff.

I'm sure. Let's not have them meet.

Yes.. that is indeed a highly enjoyable thing... err,

Yeah I'm sure there's a brook somewhere who's a bad kisser. He'll kiss so bad that people die from it, especially on new years eve.
